The Achiever Program

The Achievers AfterSchool Studio

Grades 9–10 | Accepting Applications: Enrollment by Application Only DEADLINE: May 30, 2026

2026 Academic Calendar

  • Full Program Start: September 2026
  • Schedule: Weekly Studio sessions throughout the semester.

The Achievers Afterschool Studio is a premier mentorship experience for students ready to build a strong foundation for their future. This program provides students with high-impact, one-on-one mentorship to develop a strategic plan for success in college, trade school, and the professional workplace. By meeting in a professional "Studio" setting twice a week, students move beyond the classroom to gain real-world skills and career exposure.

The program is strategically organized into four key pillars:

A. Strategic Career & Academic Preparation

  • Internship Facilitation: Access to internships and career exploration to gain practical experience.
  • Resume & Professional Profiles: One-on-one support in creating effective resumes and a strong digital presence.
  • Extracurricular Guidance: Assistance in finding activities that match student interests and strengthen applications.
  • Application Support: Expert guidance to navigate the deadlines and forms for college and trade schools.

B. Essential Skill Mastery

  • Skill-Building Workshops: Targeted sessions on financial literacy, computer skills, and responsible debt management.
  • Business Etiquette: Training in professional conduct and networking to ensure readiness for any workplace.

C. Confidence & Leadership Building

  • Mock Interviews: Simulated sessions and public speaking practice to sharpen communication and confidence.
  • Guest Role Models: Connections with inspiring professionals to foster ambition and a resilient mindset.

D. Civic Engagement & Responsibility

  • Volunteer Service: Structured community service projects to develop empathy, teamwork, and civic responsibility.

Support a Future Achiever

In the highly competitive Northern New Jersey market, comprehensive college and career preparation can cost over $5,975 per student, per year. Kora Kora Corp ensures that high-potential, underserved youth receive this same premium-level one-on-one mentorship for the subsidized cost of $1,950 per year. Your generous donation helps bridge this gap between the high cost of education in our area and the student's ability to pay.

Your Donation Makes a Direct Impact:

  • $250 covers the cost of a Professional Workshop and specialized Studio materials for one student.
  • $975 sponsors one student's full enrollment for an academic semester.
  • $1,950 sponsors one student for the full school calendar year.
